The increase in speed results from the slim integrated design, which is equipped with a new series of shortened wing profiles. With the same weight and at least the same (usually better) stiffness than round tubes, these minimalist wings can reduce wind resistance by up to 30 percent, giving you more speed for less work.
To improve comfort and feel over the CAAD12 (famous for its smooth handling), the CAAD13 features lowered seatstays, an integrated seat clamp and an integrated 27 KNØT seatpost, doubling the frame’s conformity.
